Adding menu-buttons to a website gives visitors an easy to way to navigate web pages. To add a menu-button, go to the edit web template window, (for instructions on how to do that, click here).
The menu-button will create tabs that are automatically mapped to your page names, so before you add a menu button, make sure that all web pages have the desired names and are in the desired order. If you wish to change the name of a specific web page, go to that page and then click the on the “Settings” button.
In the “Page Setting” tab, change the page name.
. In the menu bar, click on the “Add” tab, and then click on the “Button” option.
A dotted square will appear in the template box, and a window named “Webnavigation Object” will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Note that the button will be the same color as the background of your template and therefore may be hard to see at first.
To edit the size and position of the box, either click and drag on the box, enter the desired coordinates into the “X” (horizontal position) , “Y” (vertical position), “W” (width) and “H” (height) boxes.
Open the formatting section to edit the background color and border settings of the window.
To edit the appearance of individual page navigation buttons open the “Button Property” section. Note however that changes will not appear in the “Edit Web Template” window or in the preview unless you are an administrator.
When you are satisfied with your work select the “Save” button on the upper left hand corner of the screen.
