How do I use the MDF feature?

MDF Functionality

 

Step 1: Click to expand “Manage”, then click to expand “MDF Approval” and then select “Fund Plans”.

 

Step 2: Click on “Create”.

 

Step 3: Choose a name for your Fund and then click “Next”.

 

Step 4: In the “Activities” section, click on “Add”.

 

Step 5: Fill in the details and then click “Save”.

 

Step 6: All activities and their budgets will appear in the “Activities” tab.  Select an activity and then click “Next”.

 

Step 7: In the “Organizations” section, use the “Add/Remove” toggle to attach organizations to an activity and then click “Next”.

 

Note: The below steps will be performed by a separate entity who wants to put in a fund request.

Step 8: Click to expand “Manage” and then click on “MDF Fund Requests”.

 

Step 9: Click on “Create Request”.

 

Step 10: Fill in the details and then click  “Save”.

 

Step 11: Enter the total amount that needs to be approved and click on “Save”.

Note: The following steps will be performed by an admin who will approve or reject the fund request.

Step 12: Click to expand “Manage”, then click to expand “MDF Approval”, and then click on “Fund Requests”.

 

Step 13: Click on “Request For Approval” and then on the organization.

 

Possibility 1: If the requested fund is approved fully and saved, it can be viewed in the “Total Reimbursed” section.

 

Step 14: Click to expand “Manage”, then click to expand “MDF Approval”. Further, and then click on “Fund Requests”.

Note:Fund Requests” can only be viewed by Super Admin.

 

Step 15: Click on “Approved Requests” and then click on the organization.

 

Step 16: Enter the total amount to be reimbursed and then click on “Save”.

 

Step 17: If you reimburse for the full amount, the fund name will appear in the “Total Reimbursed” section.

 

Possibility 2:

Step 22: If the requested fund is approved partially and saved, it can be viewed in the “Partial Reimbursed” section.

 

Possibility 3:

Step 23: If the requested fund is rejected, it can be viewed in the “Rejected Requests”.
