Opportunity Ownership

Feature:

Earlier users could only share opportunity records with other users. This restricted them from having certain rights over the opportunity record. Opportunity ownership allows users to assign complete ownership of opportunity records to other users

Who will be using this?

This feature will help the Sales team, as ownership of opportunity records can easily be assigned to them by the Marketing Team. This gives them information about the status and the contacts associated with the opportunity record.

Benefits:

Giving ownership allows users to have complete usage rights on the opportunity record. This means multiple users can have equal rights on the same opportunity record.
