Announcing enhanced security options for HTML based forms

August 2017

We are happy to announce the release of new security options for forms in Mindmatrix. These updates will reduce the number of spam form fills experienced by some customers.

How does this affect most users?
If you are using landing page templates with forms, or our iframe code for your forms, you do not have to make any changes or updates to take advantage of the new security features.

How does this affect users with HTML-based forms?
Users who created forms using the HTML-based form option should replace their existing form code on their websites with new modified versions.

If your website is created and hosted by Mindmatrix, we are currently upgrading all forms on your website for you. If you manage the code on your website yourself, you can follow the instructions below to update your code.

Accessing new form code.

In order to upgrade your form code, you should edit the landing page in your account under the Manage > Web section.

Then, click on "Get Form Code".

This will show options to update your form with greater security.

Select one of the following security options:

  • Access Token
  • Invisible Captcha
  • Captcha
Enter a success or failure URL for contacts to direct them to a page if they fail or successfully complete the form.

Finally, copy and paste your updated form code into your website.
